Ingredients:

6 oz. center cut bacon
½ tsp. Reese Hickory Liquid Smoke
1 lb. ground beef or extra lean ground turkey
1 medium onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
¾ cup ketchup
⅓ cup pineapple juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Pineapple rings (optional)
Red onion rings (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Place bacon in an aluminum foil lined baking sheet. Cook for 15 minutes or until crisp. On a paper towel-lined plate, lay bacon to drain grease. Set aside.
3. In a skillet, combine ground beef or turkey, onion, pepper, garlic, and minced ginger. Cook until brown.
4. In a small bowl, blend ketchup, pineapple juice, brown sugar, vinegar, liquid smoke, and soy sauce.

8. Garnish with pineapple rings and red onions.
